Raw Gluten-Free Chocolate Fudge Recipe

For my children’s school year’s final venture into the classroom: chocolate from scratch. I taught my favorite 3rd graders to make the raw dessert that follows.


How To Make Raw Gluten-Free Chocolate Fudge

A gluten-free version of the all-time favorite chocolate fudge dessert! A lighter and healthier version that doesn't skimp on flavor. These delectable bites are still chock full of chocolate goodness along with some rich ingredients to help it along the way.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cacao powder, raw
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ cup coconut butter
  • ½ cup macadamia nut butter
  • 1 cup agave nectar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp celtic sea salt
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cacao, coconut oil, coconut butter and macadamia nut butter.
  2. Stir in agave, vanilla, salt and cinnamon.
  3. Mix well, mashing lumps against side of bowl with a fork to smooth out batter.
  4. Pour mixture into a 7x11-inch glass pyrex dish.

  5. Place in freezer for 1 to 2 hours, until firm.

  6. Cut into squares and serve.

Recipe Notes

Store in refrigerator or freezer to maintain proper texture and consistency.
