How To Make Vegan Cashew Mozzarella Recipe
A dairy-free, vegan alternative to traditional mozzarella made with cashews.

Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews, soaked in water overnight
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp agar agar powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions

Drain the soaked cashews and add them to a blender with the water, nutritional yeast, garlic clove, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Transfer the mixture to a small pot and sprinkle the agar agar powder on top. Whisk everything together.

Heat the pot over medium heat and whisk occasionally until the mixture thickens and becomes stretchy, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Transfer the mozzarella mixture to a small dish lined with parchment paper. Smooth out the top and let it cool for a few minutes.

Once the mozzarella has cooled and set, slice it into pieces and use as desired.
