Diet, Dessert, and Dogs: "A Year to Eat Freely" Recipe Calendar Review & Giveaway
My good friend Ricki over at Diet, Dessert, and Dogs just posted a lovely review of my recipe collection "A Year to Eat Freely: 2011 Allergy-Friendly Recipe Calendar." This 12-month calendar features seasonally-appropriate recipes that are free of Gluten, Rice, Dairy, Casein, Eggs, Soy, Corn, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Potato, Tomato, Citrus, Shellfish and Cane Sugar. I self-published it last fall, and all the recipes, photography, and design work are original. It was a wonderful project, I love the recipes, and the feedback so far has been great.
In addition to posting a thorough review, Ricki is giving away a copy to one lucky reader and is sharing one of my favorite recipes from the calendar, my Smoky Zucchini Dip.

Hi Kim, Wanted to tell you that Kim (Cook IT Allergy Free) found out I love calendars so she surprised me with your calendar when I visited her a week ago. I love it! It's sitting on my kitchen counter. Very attractive and functional with such great recipes. Such a creative and common sense idea to do a calendar that way. Great job!

@Shirley - THANK YOU! I'm so flattered, and so honored that the calendar was gifted from one GF foodie to another! I'm blushing. :) thanks for the sweet note.
I've really been enjoying the recipes, Kim. Our likes and recipe styles are so similar! Everything so far has been delish. I can't stop eating that Mix and Match Kale Salad! Thanks for all the work and wonderful recipes. xo Ricki
Oh I wish I could comment on the Choc Sauerkraut Cake but not to be (I keep getting blocked!?!) Anyway both posts look extremely delicious. I love the look of that smoky zucchini dip!
